What date and time will Attack on Titan’s upcoming one-hour-long season 4 part 3 special episode release around the world?

Attack on Titan is back, and we still aren’t sure what will be destroyed into pieces first – Eren’s crumbling world or the global anime community.

The iconic anime is finally set to return in just a few short hours and whilst the series is not resuming its weekly release schedule, the one-hour special is certainly expected to crash the Crunchyroll servers.

Crunchyroll offers a 14-day free trial period for access to the premium service that is required to watch Attack on Titan season 4 part 3.

ATTACK ON TITAN SEASON 4 PART 3 RELEASE DATE, TIME CONFIRMED

Attack on Titan season 4 part 3 is scheduled to premiere at 12:25 PM local time in Japan on Saturday, March 4 via the NHK television network.

This means that Attack on Titan season 4 part 3 will premiere for domestic audiences in Japan at the following international times:

  • Pacific Time – 7:25 AM
  • Eastern Time – 10:25 AM
  • British Time – 3:25 PM
  • European Time – 4:25 PM
  • India Time – 8:55 PM
  • Philippine Time – 11:25 PM
  • Japan Time – 12:25 AM
  • Australia Eastern Daylight Time – 2:25 AM

However, fans should note that even with just a few hours to go, Crunchyroll has not yet confirmed when the anime will be made available to stream worldwide.

The majority of major anime titles are uploaded to Crunchyroll one hour after the domestic broadcast in Japan (that’s one hour after the described times), but the lack of information from the platform is driving suspicions that there may be an internal issue with the OTT streaming distribution.

This article will be updated as soon as an international release time is confirmed, but fans need to show patience as we wait on official news on the OTT streaming release.

“Eren activates “The Rumbling” in an attempt to destroy the world. Countless Titans begin their march, trampling down everything in their path. Mikasa, Armin, Jean, Connie, Hanje, Reiner, Annie, Pieck, and the mortally wounded Levi ……. Those who are left behind challenge Eren in a final battle to stop him.” – Synopsis.

The original plan was to have all episodes from Attack on Titan season 4 part 3 air on March 4; however, the distribution was split between the upcoming one-hour special and a second part later in 2023.

Due to the intense workload that comes with modern anime productions, especially one as high-quality as Attack on Titan, it’s no surprise that MAPPA decided to split the broadcast into two more parts.

“Our initial goal was to broadcast the entire Final Season on March 3rd 2023. However, in the production process, the workload became must larger than expected. After consulting with the production committee, we’ve decided to release the Final Season in two parts,”

MAPPA’s statement continued, “We deeply apologize to those who have been looking forward the end of the anime’s final arc. All of our employees and staff promise to deviate our energy to Attack on Titan until it reaches its end. We hope you will give us a little more time.”
